Data Controller and Data Subject Information

This information has been prepared in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, and İstanbul Akvaryum Turizm Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (Crowne Plaza İstanbul-Florya) is the data controller because it processes your personal data, determines the purposes of data processing, and establishes and operates the data processing system.

Natural persons whose personal data is processed byİstanbul Akvaryum Turizm Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (Crowne Plaza İstanbul-Florya) are considered as data subjects by law.

Your personal data, as specified below, is processed for the purposes of ensuring company security, ensuring the security of entry and exit to the company's private areas, providing internal authorizations, and fulfilling other relevant legislation, for our visitors, job applicants, employees, suppliers, and customers. Personal Data Transfer and Purposes

Your personal data may be transferred to the relevant authorities, upon request, without any obligation to inform and without seeking your explicit consent, within the framework of Article 8 of the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law).

The personal data processed; Personal data may be transferred to judicial authorities, relevant law enforcement agencies, or administrative authorities upon request for the resolution of legal disputes or as required by relevant legislation, within the purposes and limitations stipulated in the law.

Data Controller Rights and Obligations 

As a data controller, we have the rights and obligations to process personal data in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and other relevant laws, to prevent the unlawful processing and access of personal data, and to take adequate security measures in line with technical and practical possibilities for the secure processing and storage of personal data.

We have the right and obligation to keep personal data confidential, to ensure confidentiality and security.

We are committed to taking all necessary technical and administrative measures and exercising due diligence to protect personal data. The protection of personal data is a matter of importance to our company. All necessary technical and administrative measures are taken to protect personal data against unauthorized access or loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We use generally accepted security technology standards when processing personal data. Despite taking the necessary information security measures, in the event that Personal Data is damaged or falls into the hands of third parties as a result of attacks on our company's website and data processing systems, we will immediately notify you and the Personal Data Protection Board and take the necessary measures. In the event that at least one of the following conditions is met, as stated in Articles 5 and 6 of the Personal Data Protection Law, personal and special categories of personal data may be processed for the stated purposes, even without explicit consent. This includes: being explicitly provided for in the relevant laws; being necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right; being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract and therefore necessary for the processing of personal data belonging to the parties of the contract; and the data controller's... It is necessary for the fulfillment of a legal obligation. The data has been made public by the data subject themselves. It is necessary for the protection of the life or physical integrity of the person who is unable to express their consent due to factual impossibility or whose consent is not legally valid, or of another person. It is necessary for the processing of data for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject. For special categories of personal data other than health and sexual life data (such as a person's race, ethnic origin, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion, sect or other beliefs, appearance and clothing, membership in associations, foundations or trade unions, criminal convictions and security measures, as well as biometric and genetic data), processing is provided for in the laws.
